How to restore the TCP on the car at the loss

The passport of the vehicle (PTS) is the most important document of the legal car, which indicates the main characteristics that allow you to identify the vehicle with 100% probability.

If the issuance of PTS refuse

Despite the simplicity of the procedure for restoring the lost TCP, in some cases complications are possible, up to refusal to issue a new passport. All these cases are indicated in the regulatory and legal documents of the traffic police:

provision of information and documents that are not relevant to Russian legislation;
providing documents with signs of counterfeit or inconsistency with registration data;
providing unreliable information;
restriction or ban on registration with a car;
finding a vehicle wanted.

Note: The refusal to issue a duplicate TCP must be issued in writing in writing.

If you think that the issuance of the document was denied without proper grounds, you can write an application to the head of the traffic police with an explanation of your point of view and the application of the relevant documents, including copies of the written refusal.
