The trialists of the Nokian firms were alarmed by the quality, they themselves repeated the deaths ... The service investigation showed that the tires had failed when they were manufactured at the factory in St. Todi and becoming zbіy in the technological cycle. They didn’t tell us about the details (maybe, they were taken either in dryness, or in the temperature of vulcanization), but they sang that the defective batch did not go on sale. There are no Russian tires on the list - our backwaters do not bestow the 185/65 R15 rating. This evidence of the past fates shows that the summer tires of the vicissitudes of manufacture cannot yet compete with imported analogues. Even the testing program allows a number of "wet" tests, in which our tires strongly outperform foreign ones. One of the reasons is eloquently simple - it is simply nowhere for the factories to carry out natural testing. For example, it is not possible to evaluate the operation of aquaplaning on the central autofield near Dmitrov - there are no special tracks there. Then the stench is in Finland, on the territory of the test site of the company Nokian Tires, where the city of Nokia was located. Itself there at the spring of the past fate and our tire battles unfolded. "Unit carrier" was used by Alfa Romeo 147 cars.

Especially for this position, we included in the test program a set of half-worn Nokian Hakkapeliitta Q tires - with an over-depth tread of 3.5 mm.

The testing technique was formed for a few years of similar "tire" tests. As before, we give the main respect to the “wet” characteristics of tires - the galvanized road on asphalt covered with water, hydroplaning ... "get out dry".

Aquaplaning is one of the most intrusive and unsafe "water" effects. How to fight him? Like a “drain” car, having flown into a kalyuzh, it is not necessary to hit the galm on the pedal, it is not necessary to sharply vivert the kermo. The best way to smoothly throw off the gas, to get to the moment, if the wheels again make contact with the road, - and only after that galm or turn.

In our tests, we can measure up to the point of navpaki - we can see aquaplaning and fix the smoothness of the cob "splicing". Fight like that. The car is driving to the track, flooded with water, water is drowning the gas in the wake - and Alfa starts breaking until quiet, until the drive wheel protector can no longer cope with the introduction of water from the contact zone.

As a result, the Goodyear Eagle Ventura tires demonstrated the greatest resistance to aquaplaning - they began to contact at 89 km/h. they were deprived of them, but the difference between them showed up even more - 28 km / year!

Galmive testing is the simplest and at the same time the most important part of the test program. What to rob more water in an extreme situation? Virno: b'є scho є forces on the pedal halma. Before the advent of ABS, it was a rough pardon - the wheels were blocking, and the car became uncorrected. And if you have a car equipped with ABS, then you need to repair it - for maximum efficiency when galvanizing, you just need to press on the pedal “in the middle”. During our galvanic tests with a speed of 80 km / h, Nokian NRHi tires showed the best results, and the new Indonesian tires Champiro were the best.

Another "wet" test is the re-verification of the boundary zchіpnih authorities in a transverse straight line. Now - testing for keratinization on a winding track about a kilometer long.
